We went to the Chinese lantern festival at the Montreal Botanical Gardens.  Hand made silk lanterns from China depict traditional Chinese folk tales.  Spidey came along to see them.  Now he’s back to doing homework!

Yesterday Spidey and I went along with our roommates up Mont Royal.  This photo is looking out over Old Montreal.  In winter the trails here are supposed to be great for cross country skiing.  There’s an old hunting lodge at the top of the “mountain” with a little cafe.  Inside they have these scary squirrel statues that go along the beams on the ceiling.  There are tons of squirrels outside as well; they are really huge and have no fear of people, obviously fed by tourists.
