For all those concerned, Spidey will be coming home shortly. Although he forgot to come along for poutine, he will hopefully remember to come out on a few more outings in Montreal, perhaps to school with me. He is excited to take his anti-malarials and go to Cambodia.

Last night I went with my roommate to the “Moksha Yoga” studio for Karma Friday. That means it’s only $5 to drop in, instead of the usual $16 (ouch!). It was super packed in there, we got there early and barely got spots. They do hot yoga, which I’d never tried before; the room is quite warm and very humid. I actually really liked it, although I can’t remember the last time I sweat so much! Actually, I do , it was when I climbed to the top of the volcano in St.Vincent (Caribbean) last year. That was worse. You can tell you are really sweating when you can feel it dripping down towards your unmentionable areas. This wasn’t that bad. Overall, I felt quite refreshed afterwards. My pores are definitely cleansed.
On the way home we walked past this bar called “Pi”, or actually the symbol for pi ie. 3.14…… It’s a Russian bar where you can play chess! Well, I’m not sure if it’s actually Russian, but I assume it is. Also pretty close to my house is the famous Schwartz’s deli, which I haven’t been to. There’s always a long line of people outside waiting for a table. Not sure I’m a big fan of smoked meat anyway. Tomorrow my roommate’s boyfriend, aka the French Bulgarian, is making us crepes!

Ok, so I’m pretty much all packed up and ready to go. Moving was a nightmare, and I have to mail myself a bunch of stuff that won’t fit in my bags. Imagine little me, dwarfed by two gigantic 50 pound bags, stumbling through the airport… I’ll need some poutine to build up my strength. And I hardly slept at all last night, so I may not be in my top mental state upon arrival.
On the bright side…McDivey, aka McTroutBum, bought us tickets to New Zealand for Christmas! Kiwi-a-gogo-land here I come!! In 3 and a half months, that is.
So bye for now, I’ll write more when I’m in Montreal!
